Notifications
Stay updated on bookings, cancellations, and other important events.
Accessing Notifications
- Tap the notification bell icon in the app header
- The notifications screen shows your recent notifications
- An unread count badge appears on the bell icon when you have new notifications
Notification Types
| Type | When You Receive It |
|---|---|
| Booking Created | A new booking has been made at your salon |
| Booking Confirmed | A booking request has been confirmed |
| Booking Cancelled | A client has cancelled their booking |
| Booking Reminder | Reminder for an upcoming booking |
| Payment Received | Payment has been collected for a booking |
| Payment Failed | A payment attempt failed |
| Facility Created | Your salon has been created successfully |
| Facility Updated | Your salon details have been updated |
Notification Details
Each notification shows:
- Title — brief description of the event
- Body — additional details
- Client Name — who the notification is about (for booking notifications)
- Service Name — the service involved
- Time — when the appointment is scheduled
- Date — when the notification was received
Managing Notifications

| Mark as read | Tap on a notification to mark it as read |
| Mark all as read | Tap Mark All as Read button |
Push Notifications
Glambook sends push notifications to your device for important events (new bookings, cancellations, etc.). These work on both mobile and web:
- Mobile — standard push notifications via Firebase
- Web — browser notifications (you'll be asked to allow notifications on first visit)
tip
Enable push notifications to never miss a new booking or important update. Check requests regularly if you're using Manual booking mode.
