Understanding Bookings
Learn how the booking system works, including the two booking modes and booking statuses.
Booking Modes
Your salon can operate in one of two booking modes:
Automatic Mode
- Client selects a service, provider, date, and time slot
- If the slot is available, the booking is confirmed instantly
- The booking appears on your calendar immediately
- No action needed from you — the system handles confirmation
Best for: Salons that want a hands-off booking experience with minimal manual work.
Manual Mode
- Client selects a service, provider, date, and time slot
- The booking is created as a request with a "Processing" status
- You receive a notification and the request appears in your Booking Requests tab
- You review the request and confirm or reject it
- Only confirmed requests become actual bookings on your calendar
Best for: Salons that want to review and approve each booking before confirming.
tip
You set the booking mode when creating your salon. You can change it later by editing your facility details.
