Understanding the Dashboard
Your dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your salon's daily operations at a glance.
Accessing the Dashboard
The Dashboard is the home screen — it opens automatically when you log in. You can also access it anytime by tapping Dashboard in the navigation.
Summary Cards
At the top of the dashboard, you'll see four summary statistics:

| Today's Bookings | Total number of bookings for today |
| Active | Currently ongoing bookings right now |
| Upcoming | Bookings scheduled for later today |
| All-Time Completed | Total completed bookings since your salon joined Glambook |
Dashboard Widgets
Ongoing Bookings
Shows bookings that are currently in progress — the client is at your salon right now.
- Displays client name, service, provider, and time remaining
- Helps you track what's happening in real-time
Upcoming Bookings
Shows bookings scheduled for later today or the near future.
- Displays client name, service, provider, and scheduled time
- Helps you prepare for what's coming next
Service Provider Availability
Shows the current availability of your providers:
- Which providers are working today
- Who is currently with a client
- Who is available for the next booking
Appointment Activities
A time-based view of your appointments with a date picker:
- Select a date to view that day's activity timeline
- See how bookings are distributed throughout the day
- Useful for spotting busy periods and gaps
Tips
- Check the dashboard first thing when you open the app to see your day's schedule
- Use the Ongoing Bookings card to track if appointments are running on time
- Monitor Provider Availability to quickly assign walk-in clients to available providers
- Use Appointment Activities to spot scheduling patterns — if certain time slots are always empty, consider running promotions for those periods

Dashboard data is specific to your currently selected facility. If you manage multiple salons, switch between them using the facility selector.
