Managing Booking Requests

Review and process booking requests from clients. This applies when your salon uses Manual booking mode.

Accessing Booking Requests

  1. Go to the Booking Requests tab
  2. Use the date selector to navigate between dates (previous day, next day, jump to today, or pick a specific date)
  3. Filter by status using the chips at the top:
    • Processing — new requests awaiting your action (shown by default)
    • Partially Confirmed — multi-item requests with some items confirmed (shown by default)
    • Confirmed — fully confirmed requests
    • Completed — past requests that were fulfilled
    • Cancelled — rejected or cancelled requests

Request Details

Each request shows:

  • Request ID
  • Client name (or guest name)
  • Service(s) requested
  • Provider (if specified by client)
  • Requested time
  • Status
  • Total amount (LKR)

Tap a request to view full details.

Processing a Request

Confirming a Request

  1. Open the request details
  2. Review the service, provider, and time
  3. Tap Confirm
  4. The request becomes a confirmed booking and appears on your calendar
  5. The client receives a confirmation notification

Rejecting a Request

  1. Open the request details
  2. Tap Reject
  3. The request is cancelled
  4. The client receives a rejection notification

Multi-Item Requests

If a client booked multiple services in one request:

  • You can confirm or reject each item individually
  • Confirming some items and rejecting others puts the request in Partially Confirmed status
  • Once all items are processed, the overall request status updates accordingly

Request Status Flow

Processing → Confirmed (all items confirmed)
Processing → Partially Confirmed (some items confirmed, some pending)
Processing → Cancelled (all items rejected)
Confirmed → Completed (after appointment time passes)

Tips

  • Check requests regularly — clients are waiting for your confirmation
  • Respond quickly — fast confirmation improves client satisfaction
  • Review the time carefully — make sure the requested time doesn't conflict with other bookings
  • You'll receive push notifications when new booking requests come in

If you want bookings to be confirmed automatically without manual review, switch your salon to Automatic booking mode in your facility settings.
